This right here is my Nona’s famous butter tart recipe they were her so called “staple”. She’s remember by her family and friends for having a terrible sweet tooth and baking nearly every day among other wonderful things. Last week I decided I would recreate them for the first time the result was magical. If I had to think of one trait I inherited from her it would definitely be her love of baking.
My mom to this day still reminisces about all the times she licked the bowl of melted brown sugar and butter while she baked. I hope you enjoy this butter tart recipe just as much as I do!
